What does CLT stand for?

CLT stands for Child, Life, and Teen, reflecting our mission to support children, teens, and families through every stage of life. It’s also a nod to our city, Charlotte, NC. At CLT Counseling, we aim to serve the youth and families in our community with care and innovation.

What services do you offer?

We provide a variety of innovative services, including:

  • Individual counseling

  • Family counseling

  • Groups

  • Parenting 

  • Community Presentations

What are your fees?

  • Ian’s fees: $200 for a 50-minute individual session

  • Tori’s fees: $150 for a 50-minute individual session, $175 for a 90-minute family session

What is your availability?

We offer flexible scheduling, including before- and after-school sessions. Virtual appointments are available for residents of North Carolina. When booking, you can schedule appointments up to:

  • 60 days in advance with Ian

  • 30 days in advance with Tori

What’s your cancellation or no-show policy?

We understand that schedules can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

Do you offer additional resources?

Yes! Visit our Resources page for helpful tools and materials. We’re also happy to create custom content for parents, teachers, or staff. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed about new updates!

Do you accept insurance?

We are out-of-network providers, but we submit claims on your behalf for out-of-network benefits and reimbursement.

  • If you would like us to file a courtesy claim, please upload your insurance card to the patient portal.

  • If no card is uploaded, we will assume you prefer to handle claims independently.

Do you have a receptionist?

No, we do not have a receptionist. You can reach us via email or phone, or use our online portal to schedule appointments, make payments, or update your information.

How do I make an appointment or access the patient portal?

Start by completing the Intake Form on our Contact page. Once submitted, you’ll receive an email invitation to set up your patient portal via TherapyAppointment. Through the portal, you can upload insurance documents, fill out forms, pay, and schedule your appointments.

Do you have snacks?

Yes! We offer snacks, drinks, and candy to make your visit more comfortable.
